Architects, with their knowledge of design language and creative intelligence, hold the potential to reach beyond the role of designer and assume leadership roles.
The 2 years post graduation program is offered by SMEF’s Brick School of Architecture with affiliation of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune and Council of Architecture New Delhi (COA). This program equips Architects with the strategic, technical and managerial knowledge required to lead AEC projects of varying scale. The program includes an internship, to be undertaken at intermediate stage of 4 semesters.
Curriculum Overview:
The program is divided in 4 semesters; each semester focusing on different knowledge areas of PMBOK. There are 20 mandatory courses including 3 Electives focusing on various aspects of building engineering & project management, 3 Software labs for exposure to various tools & applications, 2 research works and a Thesis on the topic of interest. This allows the students to focus their learning in a particular niche area.

Brick Pedagogy
Apart from the mandatory internship, each student associates with ongoing project sites for exposure, on-site learning and application of their coursework. Students associate with their designated project sites across the 4 semesters.
Case-Based Coursework
Students are associated with ongoing project sites for the entire project duration. The courses and the coursework are designed to enable students appraise, comprehend and interpret the strategic, technical & managerial decisions. This case based approach enables the students to understand and take-up the role of a Project Manager.

SMEF’s Brick School of Architecture has been in association with leading real estate, infrastructure and project management companies; for understanding & imbibing changing dynamics of AEC sector. The Institution has entered in collaboration with such esteemed organizations for knowledge & resource sharing. This ensures that the students are associated with on-going project and industrial role-models; preparing students for the industry.
